DCF mission: Apolitical ombudsman encouraging citizens to preserve our democracy by exercising their right to vote.Fellow Americans,

As the Republican and Democratic National Conventions approach, with the presidential election not far behind, it is quite obvious that we no longer have the representative government that our forefathers so brilliantly conceived. The fabric of our democracy is unraveling one thread at a time, destroyed by career politicians, self-serving bureaucrats, and special interest groups.

The articles on this site offer facts, figures, ideas, and suggestions for how we, the people, can restore our beloved Republic. This unique foundation is not seeking financial contributions; we are only asking you to carefully consider this information before exercising your precious right, as a citizen, to vote. Let’s elect politicians, who will emulate the words of George Washington, “The love of my country will be the ruling influence of my conduct.”

We also hope to encourage you to express your love for this country by offering your own ideas for how to right our ship of state and preserve our democracy for our grandchildren. I welcome your comments and criticisms, as well as suggestions for other issues that should be addressed.

VIOP, LUI — VOTING IS OUR POWER, LET’S USE IT.
